Working for an expanding and dynamic sub-contract Machine Shop, this is an immediate opportunity to start a temp to perm contract. As a result of the purchase of new machinery, an additional skilled machinist is required.

The Job Role
-Programming, setting, and operating a Haas Lathe
-Producing parts from a variety of alloys and metals
-Manufacturing one-off and short run pieces to customer specifications
-Measuring and checking parts to ensure compliance with stated tolerances
-Working for the oil and gas, brewing and rail sectors

This Position Would Suit
-Candidates with previous experience in producing turned parts from drawings
-Applicants with a strong background in fanuc control, preferably on Haas machinery
-Experience in creating threads from drawings / reverse engineering is a distinct advantage
-Professional and committed engineers looking for permanent employment with a progressive employer
