The role holder is a fundamental member of the shift team, providing effective, safe and continuous operation of the Paper Mill. This includes maintenance of the paper machines, CHP Plant and FLT, by providing technical support, effective fault finding and preventative maintenance, either completed independently or by liasing effectively with internal or external organisations. This role is a specialist function, requiring specialist knowledge of Mechanical and Process installations.

To undertake preventative maintenance, lubrication, condition monitoring, cleaning and safety checks on a regular basis, including undertaking risk assessments
Ensure all guards are maintained in good condition
Support the planning and co-ordination of plant shut-downs
