I am a 20 year old university student training to become a primary school teacher; I would like to offer my services of tutoring/helping with homework/reading after school or at weekends for children aged 5 – 11. I want to do this to enable me to keep up-to-date with work being set in primary schools and put my knowledge to practical use, all experience of working with children and helping them with their work is of great benefit to me and my studies. This would be useful for parents who work late, do not have enough time to give their children undivided one-to-one attention on homework and for children that just need a bit of extra practice with a young adult who has current knowledge of the primary curriculum. I can also provide a babysitting service if you should desire the two to be combined. There would only be a very small charge for my time as I am doing this not for money but for experience, it is also just something that I enjoy. I have a current CRB check which you are welcome to see and also lots of experience working with children of all ages and abilities through babysitting, my university course and regular voluntary work with children’s organisations and charities.
