Hello there I am looking for a DIY enthusiast / handy man to carry out light maintenence on a property in Derby city center must have all round good builders knowledge and electrical and gas knowledge.

I need for your to be able to see the opportunity here and get the job done for very cheap.

Many of the tasks are really easy things that anyone could do except i don't live in Derby so cannot do them myself.

Here is the list of jobs i need doing:

Ground floor bedroom door needs adjusting to close smoother

Apply a metal joining strip to a kitchen worktop and water seal with sealant.

Utility room door needs readjusting to close better

Kitchen Lights Need replacing with something more secure and safe just a straight swap.


Skirting board in the lounge needs matching up with original and replacing (there are parts missing that need to be put back)

The stair case has about five missing struts these need to be matched up and refitted (nailed on)

Mixer tap in the bathroom needs adjusting so that it doesn't stay in bath mode when shower is on

need for you to make up a flat pack desk and chair

feed a tv aerial cable through a whole in a wall and attach it to a wall box

Replace a part of a blind (once Ikea deliver the part which is broken)


I am looking for a reliable safe and honest person to do these tasks asap


Will pay you in the region of £100 for a good days work in cash / tax free. ex. materials

Suitable candidate must have own tools + All materials must be sourced cheapest possible and receipts kept for these so that you can give me a copy for my records and I can rebate you for them.

Must also be able to communicate via mobile whilst on site in case of arising issues.
