Hays Education are looking for a number of SEN Teaching Assistants to cover day to day sickness at schools within Chesterfield. It is an advantage if you have experience working with children who have a variety of special needs such as Autism, ADHD, Downs Syndrome and behavioural issues. An NVQ Level 3 or equivalent is desirable but not essential.



Your role as a Teaching Assistant for Hays Education will be:


To support teachers in the development of learning in the classroom

Prepare resources for lessons and particular SEN pupils

To support statemented pupils both in groups and on a one to one basis

To liaIse with external agencies when required

To monitor and record pupils progress

To work alongside SENCO in setting targets and writing reports

To promote inclusion

To promote positive behaviour in and out of the classroom
