VP Forensic is currently seeking community support workers to provide support to children with various disabilities within the childs home environment, you will provide respite for the children who are in their families care, providing learning experiences and life skills.

As part of a team you will be responsible to assist the child to develop a personal identity and also for them to develop a positive self image through providing them with choices. You will also be responsible to assist the child to integrate successfully.

Duties will include:
Ensure safety and welfare.
To provide assistance, support,guidance and encouragement as directed by the Case manager
Provide the children opportunities to integrate within the local community
To accompany the client on community activities and act as driver if required
Ensure the children’s emotional, physical and social wellbeing are met
Administer medication if required
Attend meetings

The ideal candidate will hold the NVQ2/3 in Health & Social Care or an equivalent qualification. Driving licence holder preferred.
