Ive taken the idea a step further and am organising a charity ball at the Rutland Square Hotel (near Nottingham castle) in aid of Cancer Research UK. Guests can wear any wedding attire whether thats a traditional wedding dress bridesmaids dress grooms suit or just a posh outfit. There will be a three course wedding breakfast with coffee and mints and wedding cake for everyone kindly donated by a local business. The room will be decorated like a wedding reception with balloons handmade wedding crackers and favours on the tables. There will be no speeches but the meal will be followed by dancing until 2.00 am and the evening will include a charity draw with top prize of an adventure day for two people.
