I am a mobile hair extensionist based in Nottingham, covering all the Midlands area. I am fully qualified in fitting the micro ring , fusion bonding and micro wefting methods of hair extensions and listed on the Register as a member of the Guild of Professional Hair Extensionists. I have 2 years experience of fitting these methods and have worn them myself so know how important it is to get them just right ! :-)

Human hair extensions are the most popular form of extensions as they look and feel so natural. They can be added to your hair to add length, volume and body. They can also be used as an easy non chemical way to add colour to your hair.

The new Micro Ring technique is the smallest and most undetectable Hair Extensions technique available which combines soft or fine strands of natural hair with the extension hair.

There is no glue, sewing or braids involved and there is no damage to your own hair. Micro Ring extensions should last up to three months before needing to be removed.

The Fusion Bonding method is the most common method of attaching hair extensions and it is where the extension is applied strand by strand with a hot form of adhesive. The adhesive is a natural-based product that is very similar to the material that makes up the hair and nails and is considered to be non-damaging to your own hair. A full head of extensions can take about 3 hours to put in.

Shrinkies, or shrink tubes are very tiny tubes that shrink when heat is applied, squeezing your hair and the extension together. When installed they look very similar to the fusion method above but the bonds are slightly smaller. With this method you cannot feel the extensions at all, they will be very light and almost entirely invisible. This method is ideal for people with thinner hair as the bonds do not need to be hidden as much due to their tiny size. Shrinkies create the ideal look for that special occasion; they are removed very easily and are suitable for long term wear. They create an amazing look and can be styled very easily, it is for this reason that they are most popular for people who want a new look for a wedding or party.
