A unique job opportunity for a husband and wife team on a country estate.
We require a husband and wife team to work on an estate 22 miles from Birmingham
There are two jobs on offer
An experienced gardener is required to work on an estate with vision and flare for design but not specialized, you will need to have a sound knowledge of kitchen gardening as well as orchard and fruit tree experience, you will be working as a team member and on your own as well.
The job also entails some knowledge of grassland management including haymaking, although tractor driving is not essential it would be helpful. You need a driving licence and your own vehicle
The hours are 45 per week spread over a five day period, accommodation will be included on the estate in the form a cottage with a garden utility bills are not included


The second job on the estate is for a part time housekeeper (this could become full time).
This person must have an eye for detail and be an experienced housekeeper for the estate chairman’s wife, to work in their home. You will need to be able to work on your own initiative and be very responsible and careful within the home. The job will include main household management, including ironing and some cooking.
For both jobs a good command of written, spoken reading of the English language will be required.
This is a wonderfull opportunity for long term work (minimum of 5 years).
