Hello and thank you for looking at my ad.

I am offering a dog walking service in Derby. I moved up to Derby from the south where I used to do dog walking part time. I have also worked in kennels and trained as a veterinary nurse so I have lots of experince with dogs.

I am starting a degree in September in behavioural science going on to become a dog trainer. I am offering this service in order to get more hands on experience with dogs and to help out the owners who may not have the time or the energy to take their dog out.

I would also like to add some training into the package and help out with dogs who might pull on the lead or show aggression to other dogs etc...

The dogs will be walked in groups but if anyone requires one to one walking with their dog I will be willing to do this at an additional charge.

All dogs walked in groups must be socialised and castrated if over 9 months old and male, I will also not walk a bitch in season in a group but am willing to walk these on their own.

The times available at the moment (will be increasing shortly) are:
After 4.30pm Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday.
After 3.30pm Tuesday.
Weekend mornings and evenings.

The prices are:
£10 for an hour group walk
£15 for 45 minute one to one walk
£15 for an hour weekend walk (group)
£20 for 45 minute weekend walk (one to one)

Prices include any training the owner may want to be done with the dog.

Dogs will be walked in a lovely big open park ideal for letting some steam off.


I am also looking to offer pet sitting services in the near future depending on how many people are interested. This will include any animal small or large.

Having worked in the vets I have experience with a range of small pets and having worked with horses for 6 years and having qualifications in horse care I am more than happy to offer help with horses too.
