My market leading client based in the East Midlands require a Services Account Manager help strengthen their team. This is an exciting opportunity to join a fast paced environment and to be part of a business that has grown considerably over the past five years.
The main purpose of this role is to generate new RA services, sales and increase services provided to existing customers. You must ensure continuity of services revenue in line with my clients sales strategy, QA processes, authorised price list and defined budget.
The ideal person for this would have an understanding of selling IT services, IT solutions and how an IT dept fits together. Ideally somebody who has managed multiple accounts in the past and doesnt just have administrative skills too - somebody pro-active would be best suited.
Some typical responsibilities include -
- Develop an account management strategy for my clients managed services
- Operate within a defined budget, but seeking the highest possible sales performance, as agreed with senior managers
- Ensure that all leads resulting from account visits are recorded with sufficient detail and submitted in a timely manner.
- Ensure that a contract review is held with relevant depts where applicable prior to proposals / quotes being submitted to customers.
- Participation with and completion of RFI's and RFP's for new and existing customers where required.
- Attendance of RA / Billing conferences if necessary.
