INVENTORY ANALYST, DERBYSHIRE-UPTO £25,000

DO YOU HAVE AN ANALYTICAL BACKGROUND? LOOKING FOR A NEW POSITION IN A LEADING ORGANISATION? DO YOU HAVE A DEGREE IN A MATHEMATICS/STATISTICS RELATED SUBJECT?


We are currently looking for an Inventory Analyst to join a leading organisation based in Derby. As part of the Inventory Department, you will be responsible for reviewing inventory processes to optimise inventory levels, including forecasting, safety stock requirements and ordering policies. You will also be expected to identify reasons for inventory shortages or excess using Root Cause Analysis, and suggest actions to prevent re-occurrence. The successful Inventory Analyst will be required to assist in the coordination of inventory projects across user areas through effective planning and timelines for delivery and also, to assist in driving down inventory. Alongside this, you will be responsible for optimising the Forecast Analysis process to suit relevant customer forecast types.

To be considered for this fantastic opportunity, you will ideally have:

a degree in a Mathematics/ Statistics related subject
an analytical background and commercial experience in a similar position
previously used Minitab or related statistical software
good skills in Excel and/or Access
excellent attention to detail
