My client is a fantastic market disruptive technology developer operating in and around renewables based technology. They are looking to grow all team disciplines with additions to electronics design, test, manufacturing and R&D.

The current requirement is for a MATLAB/Simulink Engineer to design & document simulations, 'Hardware In the Loop' (HIL) and control algorithms. This role also focuses on fault finding, diagnostics and analysis of test data and in-service events. Primary duties include : the technical evaluation of project activities; implementing and validating Matlab and Simulink models to provide theoretical and empirical models, 'Hardware In the Loop' and control systems strategies; and preparing Functional Design Specifications and Test manuals.

There are mutliple requirements for the MATLAB/Simulink skillset within the business and as such we require strong Matlab AND Simulink skills for these roles. A general Hardware skillset is much preferred for this role particularly including: C or C++, real time control hardware, O/S based programming and hardware, a decent understanding of Object Orientated Programming (OOP) and microcontrollers (especially the Texas Instruments C2000 family).

Base salaries between �24-42k depending on experience.
