We are a supermarket with wine merchants, petrol forecourt, car workshops, large deli/coffee bar/restaurant. This position is part-time but includes weekends, which is essential in assisting the Manager. Hours worked will be over 7 days on a rota system, again including weekends. This is not a 24 hr store. Experience in food retailing would be an advantage but training will be given. First and foremost is an interest in food and dealing with the public, together with the hygiene aspects,and a basic food and hygiene certificate is preferable. Tasks include stock control, merchandising and knowledge of the products and able to work in a team which is essential to maintain the day to day running. Pay is competitive and negotiable on experience at the interview.
