Nikon AF-S Nikkor 17-35mm f2.8 ED lens in superb condition. The lens comes with front and rear caps but doesn’t have the lens hood which I seem to have misplaced. I bought this lens new a few years ago with a D1x but after 12months of very light use I switched to Canon hence the great condition it’s in! The optics are very clean with the front & rear elements looking like new. However there is a dark dust particle trapped inside the lens, it looks like it’s probably behind one of the front elements. It’s near the edge of the lens at 17mm but does move about a fifth of the way in when the zoom is moved round to 35mm. I have tested the lens on a friend's Fuji S3 Pro and the particle doesn’t appear to be having any noticeable effect on the outputted image. By pointing this out I’ve probably made it seem worse than it actually is but I believe in giving the most honest description possible and wouldn’t want to mislead anyone! The lens barrel is in fantastic condition, again almost looking as new with just 2 tiny 2mm long light rubs to the paintwork, which are almost un-noticeable.
